1 lb and 15 ounces

Yes, that's how small my lil baby was when he was born... Emmitt was born 2 months early and doctors are still not sure why he came early.. He was at hospital for 70 days.. The longest 70 days of our lives... He came home with no issues .. He is now around 14 pounds 

Still a skinny thing but so happy and healthy... I am so In Love with this boy and so thankful for the god I serve.. This boy was surrounded by so much prayer and is testimony of gods faithfulness.. 

Today I was at Ross and I overheard these lady's conversation .. One of the lady's asked how her grandson was doing and her response was he is finally 2 pounds.. I could hear the fear and stress in her voice .. Brought back how I felt the first couple days with emmitt ..I turned around with emmitt on my hip and shared emmitts testimony and to not give up and I will pray for her little one bc emmitt had a lot of prayer and is a testimony of it.. She thanked me and said  emmitt and I encouraged her..

Had so many wires and tubes... Such a scary time in my life but I held on to god and knew I would be taking this boy home .. 

Emmitt is a tough little guy and has come so far... So in love with this boy
