How do you start a blog? with kale of course

To be honest I have tried over and over how to start this blog. I have written post and deleted them many many times. I tried to be deep, personal, inspiring or intelligent.. The only reasons why I am writing this blog is because I am a stay at home mom and I think facebook is tired of seeing all my posts of my son...He is adorable :)

So I have tried to start this blog about how much I love jesus, pinterest projects, food, or about being a mother of a preemie.. One thing is I rather be private but yet I love to talk about jesus and about my son. And the other reason why I don't know how to start this is do people really care what I am saying is or is anyone reading this except my husband....love you hun

I have erase the title of the blog over and over...So I just went with something random..Which is what my blog is going to be...random...filled with things I love...

speaking of love, I have a crazy obession with kale lately. Kale has become so popular used just be a garnish that you would pick off your plate. But I love it !!! I love to roast it and make kale chips. And is so healthy for you...I am no health nut but sometimes I try to be..here is a recipe that I found:http://allrecipes.com/recipe/baked-kale-chips/

What you will need:
1 bunch of kale
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1 teaspoon salt.....(I add a drizzle of lemon juice)
  1. Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a non insulated cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  2. With a knife or kitchen shears carefully remove the leaves from the thick stems and tear into bite size pieces. Wash and thoroughly dry kale with a salad spinner. Drizzle kale with olive oil and sprinkle with seasoning salt.
  3. Bake until the edges brown but are not burnt, 10 to 15 minutes.

The crisper the better well to me they are..

Also kale is amazing in soups, juices and sauteed. So go get your kale on!!!!!!!!

by the way if your reading this...please comment.. I love comments...or how you started your blog

  1. Yay! I'm glad you jumped back in. I still struggle with everything you mentioned & I've been blogging for 2 years. Lol. I don't think anyone reads mine either (besides Garrett), but it's a nice little creative outlet!
